Country rocker’s State Fair show sells out two months prior to the Aug. 5 event
Columbus Crew Stadium and Ohio State Fair officials announced today that country star Jason Aldean’s State Fair show on Aug. 5 has sold out, marking the first time a concert in Crew Stadium has sold out more than two months in advance. With expected attendance to exceed 27,000 for the show, it will be the largest non-festival concert in Crew Stadium history.
“We are eagerly looking forward to hosting the hottest show in Columbus this summer,” said Crew President & General Manager Mark McCullers. “Now that the concert has sold out, we can focus our attention on delivering the best fan experience to our guests attending the show.”
"We are thrilled to continue to partner with the Crew team and will welcome the crowd to the Ohio State Fair,” said Virgil Strickler, general manager of the Ohio Expo Center & State Fair. “We encourage Jason Aldean fans to arrive a few hours early and use their concert ticket to get into the Fair for free and avoid any traffic congestion.”
With a record crowd coming to the stadium during the final day of the Ohio State Fair, fans are encouraged to arrive early. Admission to the Ohio State Fair is included with your ticket and Stadium gates will open early at 5:30 p.m.
