Taste of Ohio Café: Fresh Take on Homegrown Flavor

The brand-new Ohio Agriculture Center presented by Nationwide® is opening its doors this season. Inside, fairgoers will discover the Taste of Ohio Café—a destination devoted entirely to our state’s agricultural bounty. Housed in a spacious, air-conditioned building, the café offers a cool retreat where visitors can enjoy delicious meals prepared fresh to order, served by Ohio farmers.

Savor the Flavors of Ohio Agriculture

Open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Taste of Ohio Café brings together some of the state’s leading agricultural organizations, each showcasing the excellence of Ohio-grown commodities. The menu features dishes crafted with ingredients from:

Dairy - American Dairy Association Mideast (ice cream, milkshakes, Swiss cheese sandwiches)

Beef - Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (rib eye sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers)

Pork - Ohio Pork Council (pork loin sandwiches and wraps, pork chop on a stick, barbecue pork sandwiches)

Chicken and Turkey - Ohio Poultry Association (opens at 8 a.m. for breakfast and offers items like chicken noodle soup, salads and hot shredded chicken sandwiches)

Lamb - Ohio Sheep Improvement Association (roast lamb sandwiches and sliders, Greek gyros and salads)

Every bite supports local farmers and producers, giving guests a true taste of the heart of agriculture.

No meal is complete without a great beverage. The café proudly serves a selection of  Ohio beer and wine. Visitors can pair these handcrafted brews and local wines with their meals and toast to Ohio's dedicated farmers and winemakers.
