Youth organizations can be found each day of the Fair in the Lausche Youth Exploration Space. In 2024, the Lausche Youth Exploration Space will have an aerospace/aviation theme. Focusing on sharing more information about space including the importance of the aeronautics/aerospace industry not only in the U.S., but right here in Ohio. There will also be a secondary focus of healthy initiatives, specifically within our Healthy Initiatives Hub, coordinated by the Ohio Hospital Association and Ohio Children’s Hospital Association. There will be a building wide lanyard program encouraging fairgoers to visit the different exhibits within the building to receive a branded tag. Lanyards can be picked up at the Guest Information Services booth.

America 250-Ohio

Visit America 250-Ohio's booth to learn more about Ohio's role in U.S. History including some fun historical hands-on experiences that brings history to life!

COSI + The Rocket and Space Zone

COSI will be working with partners from all over Ohio related to the aerospace/aeronautics industry. COSI will be doing a wearable, hands-on STEAM activity throughout the Fair.

Deep Fried Math

The Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics is back at the Ohio State Fair! Join us for math puzzles, games, manipulatives, and parent resources that will engage learners of all ages and abilities.


Family Fun Area

Come join us for some family fun! Giant board games, the library reading nook, coloring, and more. You can even take some time to write a thank you note to first responders, healthcare heroes, and veterans.


Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland

Welcome to the Past, Present, and Future of Girl Scouts! Explore the Past, Present, and Future of Girl Scouts through our hands-on activities, including indoor archery and crafts. Join us and discover how Girl Scouts can open up a new world of endless fun and possibilities! Girl Scout Troops will also be selling cookies at our Booth!


Ohio Department of Education and Workforce

Join the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for some hands-on fun! Visitors of all ages can journey through 250 years of American history and discover Ohio innovators who helped shape the nation and the world. Don’t miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in Ohio's incredible history.

Ohio Department of Higher Education

Visit our booth to take a virtual tour of Ohio's campuses, personalize your own backpack tag, spin the College Advantage 529 Prize Wheel, and maybe spot a mascot or two!

Tiny Town

Come join us at Tiny Town filled with playhouses, Cozy Coupes, and play gas pumps. Kids can enjoy some play time while the adults relax!


Scouting America

A variety of hands-on scout related activities will be available for Cub Scouts (5-10 years), Scouts BSA (11-18), Venturing (14-21), Sea Scouts (14-21) and Exploring (14-21) age youth. Build a Lego Pinewood Derby car and race it down the track to the finish line or participate in a game of GaGa ball. Information will also be available about the how youth and adults can get involved in the Scouting America.

Stop by to participate in hands-on activities to learn about the science and technology around food, agriculture, and the environment. If you have a future Ohio State Buckeye, come by to learn about where their interests can take them.n nLook for us on our social media channels to stay connected!

OSU Phun with Physics

The OSU Physics Department invites you to try hands-on science activities led by OSU scientists. Explore the relationship between light and color and learn about how scientists use color to study the stars. Make some noise and explore sound and waves; learn how scientists use sound to study the shape of our world. Test your reaction time and learn about the scientists studying how to measure very small amounts of time. Feel the effect of angular momentum on our special “Spinning Barf Wheel of Science.” Several times throughout the day, OSU scientists will present an interactive science show with opportunities for audience participation. Stop by and dance like a molecule with us!
